Dear Praying Partners in the Lord’s Work,                                             November 17, 2009

      We have returned to Brazil for our next term of service. We want to thank each of you who fervently prayed for our health these months that we were on furlough; God answered prayer in a great way and lifted us up and put us back on our feet in everyway possible. We are praising the Lord for what He has done in our lives. We are glad to be back in Brazil to serve our Lord and see Him work in some mighty ways. We would like to share some of the blessings that we have received on our return.

1)      We found the church in Arembepe doing well with two more souls saved in the last month.

2)      The congregation in Jacuipe is doing well also with two new converts.

3)      We received five boxes of books that we had shipped without any problems; even though we had put the wrong post office box number on all the boxes. I cannot explain how big of a miracle that in a third world country.

4)      All of our bags made it here in one piece and without being stopped in customs. Praise God for His goodness in the matter. Again I cannot explain to you in words how big of a blessing that was.

5)      The deacons did a great job and have all grown spiritually and in their leadership skills in taking care of the church in Arembepe and helping out in the congregation in Jacuipe.
*** Special prayer request - Please pray for the salvation of Patricia. She is the high priestess of the Satan worship temple they opened in the house in front of ours while we were on furlough. Pray for wisdom for us and opportunities to share the gospel with her and all the others who are living in this house.
