Dear
Faithful Partners in Missions,
February 9,
2010
We greet you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; He who
is worthy of all honor and praise. The month of January was full
of blessings and challenges. We would like to share some of the
blessings with you.
1)
Marcelo, one of the deacons of the church in Arembepe had the
privilege to lead his father and three other people to the Lord in
his hospital room. Please pray for Erondino, Marcelo’s dad as he
will have to do kidney dialysis for the rest of his life. Please
pray for the two men and lady who accepted Christ as they return
to their places of residence for them to be able to grow
spiritually.. We are not sure if there is even a good Bible
believing church in their towns.
2)
Carlos, another deacon, visited his hometown during his vacation
time and had the joy to lead two ladies to the Lord. Pray that
they will become active in the Baptist church in that city and
grow in our Lord.
3)
Nice, one of the new members baptized in December, decided to have
a Bible club at her house in January, She was thrilled to see
fourteen children accept the Lord as Saviour.
4)
Guaraci, the missionary out of the church in Arembepe, made
another survey trip to Boquim, where he will be starting a new
church, and had the privilege to lead two people to the Lord in an
open air service. Pray for him that he will be able raise the
support necessary to go to the field in April of this year. He
currently has 55%.
This new month of February, we have already seen three
people saved. Two at hospital visits at the waiting area of two of
the public hospitals in the state capital. The other, Iraci, our
neighbor, led Nelice, another neighbor to the Lord. We praise the
Lord for His working in these lives.
Please pray for Vivaldo and Luciana. They are members of
the church in Arembepe and moved back to their home town three
hours away. It is a city of 25,000 people and they want to begin
Bible clubs in their neighborhood and evangelize children and
their neighbors. Pray for the Lord’s leading as we will be
visiting them to help them in this new venture.
We greatly appreciate your partnership with us in missions
and pray daily that our Lord will bless each of you all mightily.
We remain…
Yours in the white fields,
Frank, Darla, Campbell, Caitlinn, Sofia and Stefan Brim
