Dear Prayer Partners,
Greetings in the name above all names, we count it a blessing to be
co-laborers with you and our Lord Jesus Christ. We praise the Lord for what He has done and write to
share these blessings with you.
The Institute has started its second year with nineteen students. We are thankful for
the three new students and the desire of all the students to prepare themselves for
full-time service. Please pray for each student to grow through their studies and for
God to reveal His perfect will to each one. Pray also for us as we teach and prepare
the students for their future in the harvest fields.
We thank the Lord for the nine souls saved these last two months. Pray for two
couples; Rejane and Elenilson, and John and Eloizia. We praise the Lord for the way
He has been using Lene, one of the ladies of the church. Last month she had the privilege to lead her husband, Luciano
to the Lord. These two months she has been used to see her mother-in-law, Ednalva, Anderson, her
teenage brother and his friend, Eliel all to our Lord for salvation. Praise God for His goodness.
Please pray for these and the other new converts for spiritual growth and understanding of God's
Word. Please pray also for Joselito and Denny. These two men have made a profession of
faith but have backslidden for different reasons. Many contacts and prayers have been
made to encourage them to come back to the Lord. Pray with us that God will bring
them back. We would like to pray for one other person. Her name is Jaci and she has
some very serious spiritual problems and has visited our church off and on for many
years. The last "reeks, however, she has been in many of the services and really seems
to be searching. Pray for her salvation and for wisdom in helping her with her problems.
Jacuipe is the next town north of us and has four thousand inhabitants. It has no
Baptist church and we sense the need for a solid gospel witness in this town. We have
just completed the religious census in this town with five people accepting our Lord
as Saviour. We thank the Lord for His confirmation of blessing on this new work. We
would ask you to pray for the first services to be held at the end of April and for the
discipleship of the new converts and home Bible studies with other who are unsaved
and open to learning more about God's Word. Please lift up in prayer the four Institute
students who will be working in this new congregation, that God will lead and guide
them in this new challenge in their lives.
Many of you have sent us e-mails and notes encouraging us through your continuing
prayers. We just want to say; THANK YOu, GOD BLESS and KEEP PRAYING,
God is answering. We remain...
Yours in the white fields,
The Brim Five
