Dear Friends and Loved Ones in Christ,                                                        Jan. 18, 2010

 

    We trust that each of you had a blessed Christmas and New Year. We were blessed this year to have visitors during the holiday season. My wife’s parents; Tom and Bernice Crites were here and brought four teens on a mission trip from the Minnetonka Christian Camp summer staff. The teens did work projects and interacted with children and teens from the churches in Arembepe and Monte Gordo. It was a very busy, but blessed time.  The two teenage boys, Clint and Shane fell in love with our people and Brazil. Pray for God’s leading and guiding in their lives.  

   We were also blessed of the Lord on December 6, 2009 to baptize nine people into the fellowship of the church; three adults, one teenager and five children. Pray that the Lord will use these lives to win others. 

   We thank the Lord for the salvation of Moisés (Moses). He accepted Christ at the end of our New Years Eve service. Praise the Lord for the New Year and new life. Please also pray for Gilson. He accepted Christ, yesterday at the end of Sunday school. God is working and we praise Him for it.

    We also wanted to share a great blessing. We were able to purchase a good used field vehicle. It was a great price and just the size we needed. We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to each one who prayed and gave to make this possible.
