Dear Praying Friends,                                                                         January 28, 2009

    Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.  We want to thank each of you who have prayed for our health and well being. God led us to come home on furlough to get our health and strength back.  Our traveling will be limited as we seek to do this. We have a DVD presentation of God’s blessings during our last four years of ministry in Brazil. If this could be a blessing to you, please contact us by e-mail at brimcoffee@yahoo.com. We would be happy to send you a copy so that you might rejoice with us about what God has done at the First Baptist Church of Arembepe and through it’s ministries.

     We would ask you to pray for those who accepted Christ as their Saviour before we left Brazil.

  1. Edivaldo – He is the head nurse at the medical clinic in our town and could be greatly used to influence many for the Lord. Pray also for the salvation of his girl friend; Roberta.
  2. Acácia – She also works in the medical field at a medical clinic in the capital city one hour away. Pray for spiritual growth for her and for the salvation of Emerson;  her husband.
  3. Ueverton and Tatiana- This couple needs your prayers that they would grow up in the Lord and also for their marriage.
  4. Zita - We had witnessed to her for thirteen years and we praise the Lord for her           salvation. She owns one of the mini-markets in our town and could also be greatly used to influence many for the Lord. Please pray especially for Joselia as she seeks to disciple her and help her grow up in the Lord. Pray also for the salvation of her husband, Manoel. He was very open but has not accepted the Lord yet.

    5.       Please keep in your prayers the church in Arembepe and congregation in Jacuipe. Please pray for the five deacons and their wives as they oversee these ministries in our absence.
               We appreciate each one of you who partners with us in this ministry. We could not continue without you. We thank the Lord for each one of you, who during these hard financial times continue to trust the Lord and be faithful in your financial support. May the Lord pour out on each one His abundant blessings.
