________________________________________________________________ Dear Praying Friends, January 2006 Greetings in the name of our Lord
Jesus Christ! We write to you with grateful hearts for the way the Lord has
worked in the last few months. Stefan William Brim was born on September 1,
2005. He has been a source of joy
to all of us. He is a happy and healthy baby boy; who we pray will be used
mightily to serve our Lord. Since July forty five people have accepted the Lord. It has been exciting
to see these new converts and their desire to grow in the things of the Lord. It
has been difficult to see them all become faithful in the Lord’s house, even
with our discipleship program. God has lead us to start an adopt-a-new convert
program; each new convert is being contacted weekly by a church member who
besides the discipleship is seeking to read, pray and encourage the person to
grow and become faithful in the Lord’s house. Pray that God will bless this
and that through this, spiritual growth will happen not only in the new
convert’s lives but in the lives of the ones that are
accompanying them.
The congregation in Jacuipe has seen many blessings these last few months. Rogerio, who was doing an evangelistic
Bible study, accepted the Lord and has a strong desire to serve and grow in the
things of the Lord. Pray for spiritual growth for him and for the salvation of
his wife, Veronica. We praise the Lord for the building we were led to rent for
the services of the new congregation. It is a great location, roadside of the
state highway, has space for growth, and parking for visitors. Pray with us that
God will use this new location to glorify His name and help this congregation to
see great growth. The Institute completed another
semester with sixteen students. It was exciting to see the students seeing
people saved as they did their two hours of weekly evangelism. Pray that this
will increase their vision even more for souls. We praise the Lord for the man
that graduated from the Institute in December. Jose is the treasurer of the
church in Arembepe, actively involved in the discipleship program and praying
for the Lord’s leading in his life. Pray with us that God will show him His
perfect will for his life. Along with the many victories, we have experienced many trials and
difficulties. The spiritual oppression has been very strong. Not since our first
term of service here in Thank you for your continued support, for without you we could not remain
in the fields that are still white unto harvest. In Christ, Frank Brim and Family HOME CHURCH
