Dear Friends and Co-Laborers,

Firstly, we are grateful for your continued prayers and financial support. The Lord has seen fit to give us an increase in labors for which we are thankful to Him. This last Sunday, (09/27) we began a new mission in an area outside of a town called Alangasi. Several people have recently come to know the Lord Jesus as Savior there by virtue of the evangelism of Margoth Morales, a close personal friend of ours. We had fourteen in attendance our first Sunday including adults and children. Please pray for these new ones in Christ, there testimony is paramount to the progress of the work there.
Efforts continue underway to launch the children's show with Asoma television; this last week they had a taping rehearsal and are now discussing a late October start date. We are actually relieved by the care that is being taken to make sure everything is top quality. We have had some supporters send offerings to help with the props Ennie will need to "keep things interesting" for the children. Please continue in prayer for both her and the Station.
The work in Olmedo is going well. We have weathered the festival season apparently intact! Christian Farinango was giving our Saturday night Bible studies but as of last week had a work schedule change and will not be able to continue doing so. We are unhappy about this but not disappointed; He is also in college and attends Seminary classes so he is a busy young man. I will take over again until the Lord frees up his schedule or provides someone else.
This brings me to a big prayer request. We really need a vehicle that can get us from one work to another. Bus schedules do not allow for us to be in both places in one weekend, so we are forced to visit Alangasi, (The new mission) every other Sunday. Even used vehicles are quite expensive here due to the present governments increase in import taxes. And reliable maintenance is even a bigger challenge. This makes it very difficult to find a used vehicle that has been properly maintained. We are willing to use anything the Lord provides for us; but I must admit a weariness for trying to repair or find the parts for a used vehicle. Won't you help us pray about this? If you feel led to give financially, please make sure the offering is designated. Thank you all so much and the Lord bless you greatly.

With Love,
