FEBRUARY 2009

Dear Co-Laborers,

How we praise the Lord for His multiple blessings! We thank the Lord for the gift of five thousand dollars that was given by the Dorsett Foundation that enabled us to replace the worn out a/c-heating unit of the church. Also, we praise the Lord for the Rodarte family, members of the Hispanic mission in Denton, Texas, in their gift of fifteen hundred dollars to the Hispanic Faith Baptist Mission (Mision Bautista La Fe) for the purchase of two 15 passenger vans for the work in Grand Prairie, Texas. Then the Lord blessed with an extraordinary monetary gift from a very dear family in Michigan that is enabling us to not only help in the missions in Grand Prairie and Denton, but also to supply some needs of three of the churches and their pastors that we organized in Ecuador. We are so grateful to our Lord for His abundant generosity and to these dear brethren for their love for the souls of lost men, the establishing of churches, and the training of men and women to carry on the work of the Lord here in the States and also in Ecuador.

We praise the Lord for the salvation of Jose Luis. Jose, an unsaved man of fifty-five years old, had been attending the services of the Hispanic mission in Grand Prairie for several months. We had talked to Jose several times but he had not received the Lord as his Savior. However, after our services one Sunday morning, Jose approached me and stated, " Charles, I need to be saved because I know now that if I were to die now I would go to hell!" A few minutes later Jose was gloriously saved.

The Hispanic mission in Denton, Texas is progressing with an average attendance of thirty in each service. At the present time Juanita and I are working with this mission two Sundays a month and every Sunday night. We also are starting special Bible studies and a leadership course on Tuesday nights for workers in the mission. The other two Sundays, Wednesdays and visitation  on Saturdays we are with the Hispanic mission in Grand Prairie.

Juanita and I are very thankful for your support prayerfully and financially for these works that the Lord has led us to do. May our Lord abundantly bless you is our prayer.

In His Name,

Charles and Juanita Bowen
