Dear Friends,
     In each one of our newsletters, we ask you to pray for us. We know that you have been praying, because God is greatly blessing our ministry. Both of our Vacation Bible Schools were very successful. Many children were saved during those two weeks. The boys and girls enjoyed all of the Bible lessons, handcrafts, and other activities. We have seen a good increase in Sunday School attendance since VBS, especially at Misión Bautista Monte Sion in VaIle Hermoso. Several new families have visited our services because their children came to Vacation Bible School. Thank you for your prayers. The mission is located in a very large neighborhood, and we want to reach everyone in that area with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
     Now that we have more children attending our services, we are busy preparing lessons for the Sunday School classes. We are trying to help Pastor Juan and his wife Carmen in their efforts to have an effective Sunday School ministry. It is our privilege to provide them with the materials that they need.
     In September of 1979, our family went to the mission field for the first time. When we arrived in Bogotá, Colombia, we knew that God had a ministry for us, and we knew that He would bless that ministry. Since then, it has been our privilege to serve Him in Colombia and also in Mexico. During the past thirty years of missionary service, we have experienced countless blessings. We praise God for the souls that have been saved and the churches that have been established. We look forward to many more years of taking the gospel message to areas that need new churches. We ask for your continued prayers for our ministry.
     As we reflect on these many years of ministry, we are mindful that nothing could have been accomplished without the participation of God's people. Thank you for being our partners in the Lord's work. We appreciate your prayers and your faithful financial support. You are a blessing to us.
