Dear Friends,

        We are always grateful when members of our supporting churches come down to help us in our work. Bro. Tom Schreeder, pastor of Grace Baptist Church in Zachary, Louisiana, brought a group of 11 people to spend a week with us in February. They participated in some important work projects at La Iglesia Bautista El Bethel. We appreciate their help. They were a blessing to us and to our church.
        It is encouraging to see that the work of the Lord is being carried on by young national pastors and workers. Several years ago we helped to train Sunday School teachers at La Iglesia Bautista El Laurel in Rio Bravo. One of our best students was a young lady named Carmen, a very dedicated and capable teacher who worked faithfully in the Sunday School. The Lord brought a young ministerial student named Juan into Carmen's life, and they were married recently. Juan has completed his studies at the Bible Institute, and he and Carmen are starting a new work in the city of Valle Hermoso, about 30 miles from Rio Bravo. Please pray for this young couple as they begin a work for the Lord. We are expecting God to do great things through their ministry.
        Bro. Jorge Escobar is doing a good job as pastor of La Iglesia Bautista El Bethel. The church is growing. We have changed the time of the Sunday services, and hopefully that will give more people the opportunity to attend on a regular basis. Many of our church members have to work seven days a week, so it is difficult for them to attend our services regularly. Pastor Jorge works hard to invite and bring people to church, and God is blessing that effort. Three people have made a profession of faith in Christ during recent weeks. There is no greater joy in the Lord's work than seeing people come to know the Savior.
        We thank God for the privilege of having a part in His work in Rio Bravo. And we know that we could not do our work without your faithful support. Your prayers and financial gifts make it possible for us to labor for Christ In Mexico. Thank you for all that you do. We pray that God will bless you richly.
